2025... A Look Back

As the year comes to a close, we find ourselves looking back—not at the mile markers, but at the moments.

The early mornings when the world was still quiet and we were loading crates with coffee in hand. The late-night texts that started with “Are you up?” and ended with “We’re on our way.” The handoffs in parking lots that somehow felt like little miracles—one car door opening, another closing, and a dog’s whole future changing in between.

This past year has reminded us that rescue isn’t just about the animals (even though they’re the reason we do it). It’s about people showing up. It’s about community. It’s about the kind of support that doesn’t always make headlines, but absolutely makes impact.

We’re so grateful for every share, every comment, every donation, every foster application, every volunteer who said “yes,” and every rescue partner who trusted us. Every single bit of attention you helped bring to the rescue community mattered—because attention leads to action. Action leads to resources. And resources lead to lives saved.

When we started this, we just wanted to help move dogs to where they were needed most. But over the past few years, something bigger happened: a network formed. A pack. A reminder that none of us are doing this alone.

To everyone who cheered us on, spread the word, opened your home, supported our transports, or simply cared from afar—thank you. You helped make this year what it was: exhausting in the way that purpose can be exhausting… and beautiful in the way that hope always is.

We’re heading into the new year with full hearts, sore backs, a camera roll full of muddy paws and happy tails, and a deeper gratitude than we can put into words.

Here’s to the dogs we met, the families who found them, the rescues fighting every day, and the community that keeps showing up.

Thank you for being part of this story. 🖤🐾

MEET CLAIRE

Claire (p)

Labrador Retriever Mixed Breed

Claire’s journey began when she and her siblings were abandoned at a shelter in Georgia in very poor condition. Thankfully, they were taken into our care and given the love and medical attention they needed. Claire is a sweet, playful pup who’s ready to grow up in a home filled with kindness. She’ll bring plenty of snuggles, joy, and tail wags to the family lucky enough to adopt her.

All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. Please note that the listed location for this dog may not be accurate due to technical limitations of this database and we have transportation options available within 6 hours of NYC (so don't let location hold you back)!

Interested in fostering or adopting?  Need more info on this dog?  The first step in the process is filling out an application on our website.

Transporting dogs is our passion but passions come at a cost.

With the price of everything increasing, (gas, tolls, supplies, etc)
we could use some help!

If you can, we would graciously accept some donation assistance.
