A Transport To Remember

  Mark and I always say that we love transporting dogs for Second Chance Rescue and that is always for the same reasons: 1. We wanted to do something to give back to the rescue community 2. We want to give a dog a safe, loving, and quiet ride to get them one step closer to their forever home 3. We get to play and meet lots of dogs!  Today's transport is one that I will hold extra special in my heart and will further solidify why we do what we do. Normally, I drive and Mark is sitting in the back entertaining the pup during our trip. Today's was a duo with one going to the Bronx and the second to Connecticut. Elsa was a "pocket pitty" and was so scared when we first got her. She sat by my side in the passenger seat and finally settled down by sitting on the armrest with her head in the crook of my elbow. Mark had the fun job of spending the first part of the trip with Bon Bon, a beautiful and sweet Momma Pitty. Mark is always the fan favorite when it comes to the dogs....

Our pets bring immeasurable joy and companionship into our lives, and it's our responsibility to ensure their safety and well-being. However, many pet owners may not be fully aware of the potential dangers lurking within our homes, yards, and everyday surroundings. From household substances to common plants and even certain foods, numerous everyday items could be toxic to our pets if ingested.
